Turned a confusing setup flow into a guided first-session experience for a SaaS product.

Problem

New users were signing up, then leaving before completing workspace setup because the product asked too many configuration questions too early.

Solution

We mapped the onboarding journey, removed low-value steps, and designed a guided setup pattern with progress states, empty states, and developer-ready Figma components.

Result

The product team received a clearer activation path and a practical design system pattern they could reuse across future setup flows.
